If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind the espresso shots, warm smiles, and cozy vibe at AM Coffee & Co., it’s this local Southbury family right here—Andy, Meghan, and our two awesome kids. We run the shop, along with our amazing employees, raise our family, and live right in town. And as we get close to celebrating our first full year in business, we wanted to mark the moment in the most fitting way possible: by bringing everyone together.

On Thursday, November 20, we hosted our first-ever Community in a Cup—an easygoing gathering meant for connection, conversation, and all-around good energy.

Whether you were a regular, a first-timer, or somewhere in between, tonight’s event felt like a big neighborhood hangout.

Here’s what was on the table (literally):

• 🍕 Snacks and pizza
• ☕ Full coffee bar open for purchase
• 🧩 Board games, books, and plenty of new people to meet
• 🤝 A relaxed, friendly environment where everyone’s welcome

Families, singles, couples, friends—old and young—everyone had a great time.

We enjoyed greeting familiar faces and meeting new ones. Community is what makes AM Coffee & Co. feel like home, and tonight was all about celebrating that.
